Miss Scarlet's step mother, Patricia Peacock is carrying on an affair with her own young, athletic boyfriend. Miss Scarlet couldn't be the wiser, as the trio embarks on a journey to Blackwell Grange by train. Miss Scarlet has a run in with an unpleasant man, resulting in his accidental death. She has managed to resolved her emotions by the time they arrive at Blackwell Grange. After enjoying a champagne-filled reception and a mildly awkward dinner, she notices Mr. Clay and Nurse Silver flirting. She uses that as means catching Mrs. Peacock off guard and accusing her of having an affair with Mr. Clay. Mrs. Peacock does not deny it, instead bragging about it.
Colonel Mustard has managed to fall in John Boddy's line of blame, regarding the disappearing of his parents. Though Colonel Mustard takes responsibility and has apologized, he is tired of being harassed by the seventeen year old brat. He is ambushed by Monsieur Brunette after finding Miss Peach in the woods. He lies to Mr. Ash, claiming he slipped and fell, though he admits to Yvette that it was no accident. He returns to the same spot the next morning to find a decapitated rabbit. He is ambushed a second time, but by Ben the Fifth instead.
Mrs. White struggles with her own senile tendencies as Yvette and Fraulein Bloom are hired to assist with maid duties and cooking duties respectively. Mrs. White yearns for her son, expressing this feeling with Dr. Black. He doesn't return it, even in light of Miss Peach's arrival into the family. Mrs. White finds herself being challenged by both Fivel and Miss Dove on a regular basis.
Mr. Green runs into Madame Rose after dumping a body into the harbor. They agree to ride to Blackwell Grange together. While inbound, Madame Rose manages to steal Mr. Green's Pistol. Madame Rose manages to find her own way up to Blackwell Grange while Mr. Green tends to "business".
Widowed Five-Times, Patricia Peacock finds herself mourning her late husband, the Senator, falling for her step=daughter's boyfriend, and yearning for Dr. Black all at the same time. He defends that he is with Miss Dove now. She admits to Miss Scarlet of the affair with Mr. Clay when she is accused.
Professor Plum, the estranged brother of Dr. Black, carries on experimentation on the long-thought-dead Ben Black the Fifth. Nurse Silver assists him. After using the electroconvulsive machine on Ben, Professor Plum is attacked by his riled up patient. Ben escapes.
Monsieur Brunette breaks into Miss Dove's room and is caught. He hides in the Gate House and meets with Fraulein Bloom, his off and on lover. He explains that he stole Madame Rose's pedant and was shot. He later finds Miss Peach and Colonel Mustard in the woods. He subdues Colonel Mustard and reconnects with Miss Peach.
